My Mission: Africa’s Economic Transformation
I am Amine Idriss Adoum, a Pan-African leader, economist, and development strategist who has dedicated my career to Africa’s economic transformation. As a father of three daughters, I wake up every day with one question in mind: What kind of Africa will I leave for them and for the millions of young Africans who dream of a better future?
This is not just about policies and strategies—it is about people. It is about the farmers, traders, small business owners, and young innovators who hold the key to our continent’s success. It is about ensuring that Africa no longer depends on others to define its path, but instead becomes a force that drives its own economic destiny. For me, this mission is more than professional—it is personal.
For 25 years—18 of them in senior leadership roles—I have worked at the highest levels of both the public and private sectors. My expertise spans industrialization, trade, infrastructure, regional integration, and development financing. I have led transformative initiatives that have reshaped Africa’s economic landscape, always with the belief that Africa Above All is the principle that must guide our development.
